ZenBusiness: Driving Traffic and Increasing Conversions
At ZenBusiness, I led the SEO content strategy for the SAAS start-up. As a fast-growing start-up, it was important to create a significant amount of content quickly. I managed our in-house writers and agency to publish more 100 pages per month. I also helped write and edit important pages.
My most successful project was the competitor comparison landing pages. These pages took advantage of interest comparing our services with our biggest competitors. We provided an honest, thorough comparison. My strategy helped these pages earn the highest conversion rate among SEO pages on the site.
SurveyMonkey: Updated Strategy and Process
After 3 months at SurveyMonkey, the leading surveys provider in the world, I was promoted from Managing Editor to SEO Content Manager. I was tasked with updating the strategy and content process.
New Content Strategy
My SEO content plan introduced new types of content the SEO team hadn’t created in the past. This included content across the sales funnel, new content clusters and improving existing content. We also focused more on our competitors that were gaining ground in the market. My plan outlined content for the entire 2023 calendar year.
New Content Process
My new content process allowed for faster publishing and higher-quality content. It also reduced touchpoints from eight people to three, freeing up team members to focus on other projects.
Sylvane: Thought Leadership
Sylvane.com is an e-commerce company and online resource that offers the best products for improving indoor air quality. As a small company and niche site, we relied heavily on SEO to drive business.
During my 8 years at the company, we became an industry-leading resource for residential and commercial customers across the United States. We had countless articles rank #1 in Google and earn featured snippets. Google ‘best commercial air purifiers’ and you’ll find my article 😀.

Selling and Supporting Products
My first priority at Sylvane was selling products. In addition to writing engaging sales content, I worked with our UX and IT teams to optimize product pages for conversions. We provided unique content on every product page, including answering FAQs, highlighting top selling points and making it simple for people to purchase.
As we introduced new product categories, I also created content to support them and improve rankings. This included long-form SEO articles, blogs, videos and email content. I researched and wrote the content around many top-performing categories.
